Cypress has a significant role and long history in Iranian culture and it symbolizes the enlightenment and liberalism.
The woven cypress in the heartof this piece is interwoven with Islamic motifs with an arrow-like tip.
The transition from the stereotypical form of triangular (medallion design-corner) and rectangular frame is crystal clear in this piece
