Wahed Khakdan’s iconic red rocking horse paintings inspired architect AmirAbbas Kashef to create a physical version. When dissatisfied with the prototype, Kashef abandoned the project, and Mohegh took over, reimagining the horse by removing its legs, tail, and ears, giving it a cartoonish charm.
A year later, inspired by his son Rastin’s love for the design, Mohegh created a spinning horse, replacing the nostalgic rocking version. Each piece is unique, with editions like “Lollipop,” “Checkered,” “Zebra,” “Burned-Ass,” “Melted” “Two Souls in One Body” and now “44%”.
